DroneTrack displays real-time information about a drone in flight using Amazon Web Services'
Internet of Things. This project was sponsored by Timbergrove Solutions, LLC for the final
project for DigitalCrafts.
I led the 5-person team, which included completing these tasks:
- Architecting the app's structure
- Developing the Express.js backend
- Managing data flow through the React.js frontend
- Connecting to Amazon Web Services and MapBox APIs
- Reviewing and approving pull requests on GitHub
In particular, this project taught me valuable lessons regarding connecting the front-end
to the back-end in a full-stack app, managing team members in a development environment,
and also pivoting toward other solutions when the initial plan is infeasible.
The code is owned by Timbergrove Solutions, LLC., and I am not permitted to share it on my
portfolio like I have on the other featured projects.
